About us
Doing things is better with company
Goya started with a simple observation: it's a lot easier to get off the couch when someone else is doing the same thing, today, with you.
What Goya is
Every day, everyone on Goya gets the same prompt. Some are easy, some take real effort, and Sundays are always a hard one. You go do it, snap a photo as proof, and it lands on your calendar. String days together and you build a streak; skip one and it starts over.
It's inspired by apps that capture real moments, but pointed at accountability instead of candid snapshots. The goal isn't to document your day. It's to make sure you actually did something with it.
What we care about
Real over polished
Proof comes from the in-app camera only, with no camera-roll uploads and no filters. What you post is what you did.
Small, every day
A prompt you can finish today beats a resolution you abandon in February. Consistency is the whole point.
Friends, not followers
Leaderboards only include people you follow. You are competing with your group, not the internet.
Keeping it fair
Streaks only mean something if they're earned. If a post looks faked, anyone can report it, and our team reviews reports by hand. Accounts that repeatedly cheat or harass others are removed.
Who we are
Goya is built by a small, independent team. We read everything that comes through the team inbox, and many of our daily prompts come straight from the community. Suggest one if you have an idea.
