Signing in
I forgot my password
On the app's sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the email on your account. We'll email you a reset link. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and make sure you used the right address.
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings → Account → Password. You'll confirm your current password first, then choose a new one.
How do I change my email address?
Go to Settings → Account → Email. For security, we send a confirmation link to both your old and new addresses, and the change takes effect once both are confirmed.
My account was suspended
Accounts are suspended for breaking our community rules, most often for faked proof or harassment. If you think it was a mistake, contact us through the contact page using the email on your account.
Profile & privacy
How do I make my account private?
Go to Settings → Account → Account Privacy. With a private account, people need to request to follow you, and you approve them before they can see your calendar. Your username, display name, profile photo, and bio stay visible so people can find you.
Who can see my pinned posts?
Everyone. Pinning a post makes it public even if your account is private, so only pin the ones you want to show off.
How do I change my display name or bio?
Go to Settings → Account → Display Name or Bio. Names can use letters, numbers, and - _ .
My prompt resets at the wrong time
Your daily prompt rolls over at midnight in your Prompt Time Zone, which is set automatically when you sign up. If you've moved or travelled, update it in Settings → Preferences → Prompt Time Zone.
Safety
How do I block someone?
Open their profile, tap the ⋯ menu, and choose Block. Neither of you will see the other's profile or posts. You can unblock people any time from Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked Accounts.
How do I report a post or account?
Tap the ⋯ menu on the post or profile and choose Report. Reports are anonymous; the person you report is never told who reported them. Our team reviews every report.
Streaks & posts
I missed a day. Can I get my streak back?
Not right now. Goya has no grace period, so missing a day resets your streak. Your points and calendar history are kept.
Why can’t I upload a photo from my camera roll?
Proof has to be taken with the in-app camera. It keeps everyone honest and is what makes a streak on Goya mean something.
What happens if I delete a post?
The post and its photo are removed, and your streak and points are recalculated as if you hadn't completed that day.
Deleting your account
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm with your password. This permanently deletes your profile, posts and photos, comments, likes, and follows. It can't be undone.
